I intend to do a series of these arguing for the homosexuality of Mozenrath! Believe it or not, this is not a gag. I do believe that Mozenrath was created as a gay character, although they obviously had to be more subversive about it.

I really don't see Mozenrath as homosexual (as you mentioned, the evidence is very circumstancial - as being young, handsome, well dressed and well spoken does not  make someone gay).

When comparing Raoul to Aladdin - as mentioned - he was looking for a specific type of person (strong, nimble and brave - and considering the task at hand, which was capturing a dangerous magical beast, one needs to be picky with their potential employees to make certain the job can be done).

The 'more your problem than mine, I think' comment came after Aladdin voiced disbelief that someone so young (barely older than Aladdin himself) could be a ruler of nearby lands. Mozenrath's response was more cocky/smug at his position in life than sexually suggestive.

The 'we found each other' comment is more about Mozenrath thinking he can convince Aladdin that accepting his job offer would be a win/win for them both - Mozenrath gets his powerful magical beast, Aladdin gets paid handsomely and can get out of his hovel.

There's also the moments where he had hit on (or made questionable comments) to Jasmine (as an example - while possessing Aladdin, grabbing Jasmine and insisting everyone else can leave but she can stay gave a very strong indication that he found Jasmine very attractive).

So, yeah - he's either heterosexual or asexual (not interested in sex at all); as he agreed with Iago's assumption that he was married to his work by joyfully boasting 'It's so true! I LOVE it!'

Now, for a better example of a gay Aladdin character - look no further than Mechanicales; that dude was so...so gay.
